WHARC associates, Dr. Rosemary Ogu, M.D, the immediate past President Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria, Rivers state branch and Dr. Loretta Ntoimo, PhD, Senior Lecturer, department of Demography and Social Statistics, Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE). The duo, presented a paper entitled, ‘Hearing the Voices of Women on Reasons for Maternal Deaths: results of a qualitative study to investigate perceptions of the causes of maternal mortality’. Their poster received laudable views from participants at the exhibition hall. Notable participants at the stand include Metin Gomezoglu from World Health Organization (WHO), Barbara Crane (IPAS), and members of staff of the Population Council.
